Moore Printing is the largest manufacturer and supplier of business forms and general printing in Papua New Guinea with a long history of providing innovative, quality paper based business communication solutions.

The Company's history goes way back to 1878 when the Paragon Docket Book Company was formed by our founder Samuel Moore which followed his invention of carbon paper marking the beginning of what became the multi-national giant Moore Corporation which at its peak employed over 23,000 people with 152 manufacturing plants in 46 countries. Moore was also responsible for the development of continuous sprocket fed forms and the creation of NCR (no carbon required) paper, or carbonless paper which completely reshaped the business forms industry worldwide. This long history of innovation, leadership, and industry strength is the foundation from what Moore Printing in PNG was built and the legacy that drives innovation and continued growth in our Company today.

Moore began doing business in Papua New Guinea back in the 1960's when Representatives from Moore Australia regularly travelled to PNG taking orders for production in Moore's Australian manufacturing plants. Then when PNG became independent in 1975, Moore Australia opened a permanent sales office in Port Moresby to further service the increasing demand for its products even though all production was still Australian based.

In 1985 Moore Australia Limited formed a joint venture with local producer and part of Niugini News, Key Printing which then became known as Key Moore Business Systems. Two years later in 1987, Moore Australia received approval from the PNG Government to acquire Niugini News's share and the Company became Moore Business Systems (PNG) Pty Limited.

In 1999 Moore PNG was sold by Moore Australia to Niuprint Limited, a PNG based company formed by Moore PNG's senior management in a Management Buyout that was also the catalyst of major change and investment towards growing the business.

In October 2000, Moore PNG took the opportunity to expand its business in Lae through the acquisition of Qwila Graphics who were very well established with a strong Lae and New Guinea Islands customer base.

Then in April 2007, Moore acquired the business of its largest competitor, PNG Printing with which also came two additional manufacturing locations in Madang and Kokopo further enhancing Moore's ability to better service its customers country wide.

Moore has continued to expand its expertise and production beyond traditional offset printing & business forms to now include digital printing & variable imaging and document management solutions. Now employing over 240 people in Papua New Guinea, Moore continues to lead the way in the provision of world class print, document and e-business solutions.
